About Zainab Seedat

Qualifications: BA in Psychology, BA Honours in Psychology, Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling (UNISA and the University of KwaZulu-Natal)

Ms Zainab Seedat is a Registered Counsellor (PRC 0045896) with formal training in psychology and counselling. She completed her studies through UNISA and the University of KwaZulu-Natal and works within the professional scope of counselling practice.

She entered this field because she wanted to work directly with people during times that feel confusing, heavy, or uncertain. Her work is shaped by the belief that people deserve to be treated with care and respect, particularly when they are struggling.

In sessions, Zainab keeps things simple and grounded. People are encouraged to talk in their own words and take the time they need to work through what is going on.

Zainab is aware that emotional difficulties are often tied to everyday life. Counselling is treated as something that develops over time, rather than something that needs to be rushed or fixed quickly.

Zainab works within the ethical guidelines of counselling and takes people’s experiences seriously. Her role is to offer a steady space where conversations can happen without pressure.
